Chinatown in Toronto Mosaic

I'm having fun playing around with the photos I took in Chinatown and thought I would make a couple of mosaics so I could link up with the Mosaic Monday at Little Red House.  Of course, I had to frame them with Chinese red.

  3. Thanks Grace for your wonderful words of encouragement...means a lot coming from experience! Love your chinatown mosaic....I love Toronto, been there often...we lived in Buffalo most of our lives growing up and Toronto was only a couple of hours away.

  5. Terrific mosaic -- LOVE the massed Buddhas. They crack me up.

Thanks for stopping by That Old House. Love the idea of fairies to keep you pictures on your walls -- no pesky hangers or holes in rented walls!
As for the Spanish plaque in Canada... maybe you are adding a third language to the mix?

    Have a great week!

  6. Grace, my girls and I were in Chinatown in Los Angeles back in April. We had a great time! I bet you did too!
Thanks for the nice comment on my daughter's graduation invitation post! You can download Picasa for free - it is a little tricky at first - especially with the online albums and accidentally hitting enter(which publishes a post) after uploading photos, but after awhile, I got the hang of it and enjoy using it. I love that you can enhance photos in Picasa & make some not so good photos look better.

  13. Love the fun and colorful mosaic to bring back memories of all the Chinatown markets I have walked thru in different cities. Makes me miss the times I spent shopping for some great things in San Francisco when I lived out there. Now if I could only find some Dim Sum here in South Carolina I would be thrilled:-)
