The screened porch at the cottage is in constant use - the perfect place to read, eat dinner, have tea, and hang out. I took this photo early on Victoria Day morning when the lake was still misty, and the soft early morning light filtered through the trees and into the screened porch.
Sigh - perfection!
p.s. There is still one more day to enter my Cottage Charm giveaway.
Yes. Perfection it is

Good morning Grace ~ That porch certainly looks like a peaceful place to do the things you said. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot about the lovely give-away of yours. Whoever wins is going to love your gifts. It would be nice to be the winner, time will tell.
Have a lovely weekend ~ FlowerLady
What a beautiful spot. Screened porches are just the best especially when they overlook that kind of scenery!
ReplyDeleteHi Grace
ReplyDeleteThis picture says it all to me about why i love Northern Ontario! I could sit here all day and what a great place to start off the morning with a coffee or end the day with a cup of tea!!
The screen helps with the bugs too!
Have a great weekend Grace!
Lovely! Reminds me of my cabin view (mountains though - no lake). I have half walls though - the screen to the floor sure would brighten up my space *hmmm*....
ReplyDeleteYou just look at that photo and breathe more easily - bliss.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your long weekend!
Wish I had a cottage!
ReplyDeleteThe house where I grew up in Louisville had a screened porch, it was totally awesome and I would love to have one now. Around Chicago, it could be used for maybe 3 months, if we're lucky! Guess we will just have to find a cottage but, I want a view of the Atlantic Ocean. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt looks divine, I can see why you love it! It is more than a picture it is a state of mind!
ReplyDeleteI was always fascinated with windows and views like this; this photo is beautiful and it reminds me of a painting by Edward Hopper with a view like this.
ReplyDeleteYou really live somewhere special Grace. hank you for joining in my giveaway and for putting up the button.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the draw
Sharon
