Let's start with something pretty because things are going to go downhill when I show you how our kitchen is looking these days.
There, wasn't that beautiful - a butterfly visiting our butterfly bush.
Now on to the not-so-pretty, and in fact, down right messy. You know the old saying - you have to crack an egg to make an omelette - well it sure seems like someone was in here cracking dozens of eggs. Oh boy.

It's been this way all week and it's looking like it will take me another week before I"m done. I'll need a holiday afterward, that's for sure.

Boy, what an undertaking! It's always hard to do a kitchen because it's the hub of the home. You know the old saying it has to get worse to get better. Your cabinet doors are looking great. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished room.
ReplyDeleteRemember...baby steps!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Nannykim and I LOVE the color of your cabinets! Keep the faith and I can't wait to see it all finished!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
What a lovely, clean 'mess' you have there. Being oak our doors don't need painting but I wish my cupboards were up to scrutiny like yours.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Nannykim.
ReplyDeleteYour cabinets are going to be beautiful. Hang in there, it won't be long now, and everything will be back to normal.
