When we were at the cottage for Canada Day I had the opportunity to take some informal engagment photos of my eldest son, Malcolm, and his fiance, Christie. They smiled and smiled and willingly posed in all the spots I had sussed out, and were good sports about being bossed around.
The first three are my favourites.
This photo was snapped when Malcolm offered to give Christie a piggy-back ride because her barefeet were sore from walking on the rocks.
Christie is so photogenic - I think there was only one photo where she had her eyes shut. It bodes well for the wedding photos!
These next two I tried to give a retro cottage sun-washed look using Picnik.
This last photo I included just for fun. We were all joking around.
I have to say it was difficult choosing my favourite ones. It was a fun photo-shoot.
Wow! You did an awesome job Grace! They are all lovely and I would have a hard time choosing my fav too. What a cute couple and the setting for the photos is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful photos and they look so young and happy. They are a lovely couple and I wish them much joy and love in their life together.

What great photos! I love those on the dock but the 4th one is my favorite. Could you do a larger version of your photo collages with these? It would be great framed and hung in their new home when they get married. That would be special since all of those pictures are soooo good.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations .... beautiful pictures to capture a happy occasion.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of their backs side by side at the end of the dock. So sweet!

Great photos! I wish hubby and I had more, especially when we were younger ;) My favourites are the two on the dock and the first one by the tree.
ReplyDeleteGrace, what wonderful photos, they certainly do look like they are very much in love and so happy!
